Limon Employee Arrested In Intenet Sex Sting

FORT LUPTON, Colo. -- An employee at the Limon Correctional Facility has been arrested in an Internet child sex sting.According to police in Fort Lupton, James F. Clark, 53, was arrested Thursday afternoon after he drove from Colorado Springs to Fort Lupton to meet a 14-year-old girl.Detective Crystal Schwartz with Fort Lupton police had been communicating with Clark for some time on the Internet, posing as the girl. "These 'chats' became very explicit and sexual in nature," a news release stated. "Clark indicated several times that he wanted to meet with the 'girl' and drove to Fort Lupton."Police said Clark was arrested when he showed up for the meeting. Police said they recovered a camera during the arrest that Clark planned to use to take photos of the girl.He was arrested on investigation of Internet luring of a child and sexual exploitation of a child."I am once again shocked that the suspect is involved in law enforcement," said police Chief Ron Grannis. "Crystal worked very hard on this case ... This is the seventh predator arrest that Detective Schwartz has made. We are going to continue to actively pursue these predators in an effort to protect our children."It was not immediately clear what Clark did at the Limon Correctional Facility.

Hey, I know him, I worked with him, and I'm not surprised. I'm just waiting to see how the department covers this up, just like they have covered up all the other crimes committed by their employees.
I'm not the least bit surprised. I used to work closely with law enfoecement when I was employed with the probation department. Some people would be quite shocked to know what went on! Of course, it was not the case for the majority, most of whom were very good people, but there were more "rotten eggs" than the average person might suspect! Law enforcement serves, for a few twisted individuals, as the perfect "hide out" -- they, truly, can't imagine ever being caught, due to the tremendous power and authority involved with their position. This is just the reality.
Crime crosses all socio-economic and occupation boundries. Bad apples lurk everywhere, and employers are happy to rid their work force of this type of criminal. But just wait, there will be those who will be critical of the judge who sends this guy to prison.
Having researched this subject for months, I am comfortable saying that the "Create a Criminal" program is absolutely ineffective at stopping or controlling Internet predation. Officers are trained to aggressively entice men who might otherwise disengage once an age is revealed. The primary threat to children remains where it has always been -- in the home. Meanwhile, lives and families are distroyed based on damage that might have been done to a person who doesn't exist. A pretend crime, a pretend victim, very real prison. It is, in the words of todays kids, whack!
I use to go to Limon and I know this guard and can say this about him. He was one who for no reason would give visitors and inmates a hard time with kids. He stared at them it was strange someone said something once and got written up for it and was told not to cause problems. Gee now I wonder what they would say now to that inmate and his wife who said he was staring at their child?

These jerks that enjoy ruining people's lives in exchange for their pathetic egos should have their asses kicked off the benches and/or away from law. Remember: PUBLIC SAFETY is priority #1 according to Zavaras, yet the criminal activities these 'legal' criminals continue to terrorize upon the people is jeopardizing our civil rights. In truth, there is no public safety. AND, you should not be making excuses for the many who should not be in these professions. It takes a few hours to arrest an innocent individual. Even AFTER discovery of innocence, these 'legal' criminal bastards will not admit fallibility and accountability. The innocents remain in prison.
Anonymous #3, I thank you for validating what many of us know. The cover-ups in 'law' are many. These criminals are permitted to exercise their hegemony over the public because it is much like a gang. These low-lifes feel they are invincible, and public officials (criminals?) don't help by protecting their devious characters and actions.
There are very few honorable judges. It takes a certain type of personality/character to be a prosecutor. Complete lack of compassion or empathy!
