Who is the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition?
Our mission is to reverse the trend of mass incarceration in Colorado. We are a coalition of nearly 7,000 individual members and over 100 faith and community organizations who have united to stop perpetual prison expansion in Colorado through policy and sentence reform.
Our chief areas of interest include drug policy reform, women in prison, racial injustice, the impact of incarceration on children and families, the problems associated with re-entry and stopping the practice of using private prisons in our state.
If you would like to be involved please go to our website and become a member.

After reading the article, Tough on Corretions, it should have stated, Tough on Criminal Justice System and the California legislature who made the laws. They say they have 170 thousand locked up. I bet 70 thousand are Mexican people. Why not deport them and close the dam border. I suggest that if we brought all our troops home from foreign soil and used them to secure our borders as our consitution tells us, and deport all illegals most of our countrys problems would soon go away.
If you will research what our President Dwight Eisenhauer did after the Korean conflict, you will see that he understood our Constitution. He quietley deported all the illegals to free up jobs for GI's returning from Korea.djw
