Ft. Collins - Broderick Placed On Leave At His Request
At his own request, Fort Collins police Lt. Jim Broderick, the lead police investigator during the 1999 murder trial of Timothy Masters, has been placed on administrative leave. Fort Collins Police Chief Dennis Harrison said the decision was unrelated to the Masters case but driven by a long-planned routine internal reshuffle and a new investigation by the attorney general into the 1987 stabbing death of Peggy Hettrick. Broderick is under investigation by the Weld County District Attorney over allegations that he lied on the witness stand, hid evidence and illegally recorded a conversation between Masters and his father. He faces an internal investigation over the same allegations, which were made by Masters’ defense attorneys.

These are the type of people we have 'serving and protecting' us? It is scary to say the least. This guy needs to spend nine years in jail for being a disservice...a life spent with no purpose...his legacy!
