Colorado Halts Prison Visits As A Precaution
The threat of swine flu will keep visitors and volunteers out of Colorado's state and private prisons for at least the next week, the Colorado Department of Corrections said Tuesday.
There have been no confirmed cases of the virus in the state's prison system. The DOC is calling the freeze of non-essential activities at prisons a precautionary measure.
Parole board hearings, attorney visits and medical and clinical appointments will continue with added precautions, the department said.

another absurd decision by the DOC. If the swine flu gets into the prison it will be from one of there own employee's who are from south of the us border.djw
